Dr.
Harinderjit Singh
received his Bachelor of Science in 1968 from St. Xavier's College in Ranchi,
India. He graduated from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India
in 1973. Awarded F.R.C.S.C. in Ophthalmology from the Royal College
of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1981. Dr. Singh received
Board Certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in
Philadelphia in 1982.
Dr. Singh completed his internship at McGill University Teaching
Hospital in Montreal, Canada and residency in Ophthalmology at
the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada. In 1981,
he completed a fellowship in Diseases and Surgery of the Retina,
Macula and Vitreous at Barnes Hospital, Washington University
in St. Louis, Missouri.
Since the completion of Dr. Singh's fellowship, he has been active
in a clinical practice, specializing in the Diseases and Surgery
of the Retina, Macula and Vitreous. Before moving to Georgia,
Dr. Singh practiced in Regina, Saskatchewan, and Odessa, Texas.
He moved to Augusta in 1984 and established Southeast Retina Center and
since then, has been serving Augusta and its surrounding areas
with his clinical expertise in diagnosis and management of the
Retina, Macula and Vitreous conditions using state-of-the-art
technology.
From
1974 to 1975, Dr. Singh was the Instructor in Anatomy at the University
of Western Ontario, London, Canada. In 1985, he was named Assistant
Clinical Professor in Ophthalmology at Medical College of Georgia
in Augusta. Later, he became Associate Clinical Professor in
Ophthalmology at College of Georgia.
Dr.
Singh is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Georgia
Society of Ophthalmology, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
of Canada, and the Canadian Ophthalmology Society. He is very committed
to providing the very best care using the latest technology
and has traveled and volunteered in Nepal, Pakistan and India
to expand his experience.
